<--stupid smile lol. hmm well my name is Brian Ferreira. Im 17 years old. I love art and music. im living in nyc at the moment(who knows if i'll stay, probably will for a long time lol). i post/ reblog mostly music and other music related things with maybe some art and other stuff here and there. Some bands that i guess i could consider favorites would be: American Football, Sonic Youth(should probably be on top of the list), Jawbreaker,Radio Moscow, Circa Survive, Suicide Machines, Porno For Pyros Rush, Pink Floyd, Minus the Bear, Life and Times, My Bloody Valentine, Channels, This Town Needs Guns, Cap'n Jazz, Jets to Brazil, Portugal. The Man, Agent Orange, Death Cab For Cutie, Burning Airlines, Jawox, Channels(most of J. Robbins bands), Isis, Pelican, Harvard, The Sound of Animals Fighting, Owen, Tokyo Police Club(NOT TOKYO HOTEL!!!!! HUGE DIFFERENCE), Tool, Primus, Black Sabbath, The Stooges, Algernon Cadwallader, The Cure, Jane's Addiction( not including the two newer albums),Descendents, Placebo, Jimi Hendrix, The Mars Volta, The Misfits, Pink Floyd, Queens of the Stone Age, Red Hot Chili Peppers(mostly their older stuff, like pretty much everything up to the song savior off of californication. anything after that meaning the rest of the album and everything after that is meh to me), Red Sparowes, Smashing Pumpkins, Silversun Pickups, Sunny Day Real Estate!!!!..........and some more that i can't really remember right now :)
well im a self taught guitarist who really wants to start seriously writing music even if it means doing solo work. i would love to have a career in music or maybe even art. im a little, well a lot confused at the moment as to what i really want to do in life. i planned on going to art college in Manhattan(SVA) for cartooning, animation, computer graphics, etc. but lately idk anymore. the interest seems to have dwindled. recently ive become interested in studying music production and performance after talking to one of the art teachers at the high school i go to about it so who knows, i may go to college to study music. that's where the passion seems to be so meh we'll see
i love finding out about new bands or musicians so if you know any good bands/musicians that you think i might like feel free to message me about them. and um yea.........cool lol
